The department of Ba economics withe foreign trade of Grace valley college was started in the year 2013. BAFT program started in 2013-14 and now it has intake of 50 students , 53 students and 53 students in first year, second year and third year respectively
Al presents, there are three well qualified and dedicated faculties working in the department. It has a large number of alumni who decorate many apex positions in academic and non-academic posts in various institutions and organizations across the world .The department promotes modern methodologies with a special thrust on ICT enabled technologies in teaching and learning processes.
A variety of activities like seminars ,workshops ,debates ,discussions, invited lectures ,cartoon competitions, quizzes, socio economic surveys and community extension program, study tours etc.. are being carried out every academic year. The department mainly focuses on foreign trade and logistics. The department provides proper training and orientation programs under Mr. Hareesh ,who is the head of the logistic department of Amal college Nilambur
Overview of the program
Our curriculum includes applied areas such as Foreign Trade, Documentation, Logistics, and Export Marketing, coupled with fundamental theories of Economics, as well as complementary courses in cooperation and banking. We encourage our students to learn beyond the classroom through budget analysis, industrial visits, and project work. Our B.A. program specializing in foreign trade is a unique offering with high potential for placements both in India and abroad.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent.
